I could not be prouder of our Year 13 students. These IBDP results are impressive, and they are entirely deserved.
Many of our students exceeded their expected grades, and every single one of them worked with real determination and learned a great deal about themselves along the way. That effort is reflected in the group placing in the top 25% in the world for value added. This is a measure that captures not just where our students finished, but how far they travelled to get there. I am especially impressed that the cohort averaged two points in the IBDP core. Anyone who knows the Diploma knows that is no small achievement; it demands sustained effort across Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and CAS over two full years.
But what I will remember is not the numbers. It is the young adults these students have become. It has been an enormous privilege to watch so many of them grow from primary school children into thoughtful, capable, generous people ready to take their place at universities around the world.
To this wonderful group: good luck in your university years. Go and enjoy every part of it. And please come back and see us , there will always be a seat for you at Friday breakfast, and we cannot wait to hear your stories.
