The School Board sets the strategic direction of the school and is responsible for ensuring it operates in accordance with its founding values and those of Inspired. It is fiscally responsible and operates within an annually set budget. The Board also has the key responsibility of hiring the school’s Headteacher (Director) and monitoring and evaluating their performance. While the School Board does not involve itself in the day-to-day running of the school, it monitors the safeguarding of students, their well-being, and their academic progress to ensure adherence to the school’s values and policies. John Leitão

John Leitão - Chair of the Governing Board

John is the CEO for Greece, Portugal and Northern Europe at the Inspired Education Group. He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group, where he became a Principal of their Retail and Luxury practice, consulting for multinational companies in Portugal, the UK and Australia.

During the last decade, he has held a CEO position first at De Grisogono, a Swiss luxury jewellery and watch brand, and most recently at Kinda Home, a Portuguese home decoration and furniture brand. John has a degree in computer engineering from Nova University in Lisbon and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was distinguished as a Baker Scholar.
